Getting your router set up to run wireless with DSL

posted on 11 October 2010 | posted in Internet Related

I myself run a NETGEAR router and I have a DSL modem. how to connect router to dsl modem is usually very easy by connecting your computer to your router with a ethernet cable and running your program to set your router up and connect your router to your modem and be sure to plug your ethernet cable in the right slot since there is more than one and there will be one marked for your Internet only the rest is to run ethernet connections to other sources. Once you get your router set up with your PC and you have your cables hooked right from your router to your modem then you should be get an Internet signal right off going to your computer. If you do not then make sure you have the cables hooked up right and also it you may have to rerun the program on the router to make sure it is completely set up right since you might begin Internet from your modem but not from the router to the computer.
