Necessity of Travel Insurance When Travelling Solo

Ever since I was young I have always hoped to travel all over the world because I believe that life is too short so we have to make the most out of it. Although I love reading books there is a different kind of learning when you are out there in the world experiencing things. I have only gone to a few places because of budget constraints but I am excited to visit Thailand this summer. I already talked with my agent about getting travel insurance as you can never be too careful especially when you are not in your home country.
This is particularly helpful in my case since I travel alone I am not anti-social but I am not able to explore the place that I go to as much as I want if I am constantly thinking about my companion. That is why after travelling with a friend on my first two trips, I decided from then on to go solo.
